Ein Dunkles österreichischer Prägung. Daher sehr süß. Aber es geht noch, da es sich um eine angenehme Malzsüße handelt, welche hinten raus etwas Hopfenbittere zuläßt. Insgesamt wirkt es sehr ausgewogen. Nicht so schlecht.

330ml bottle shared by ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Ambrata carica, appena torbida, schiuma leggera e poco persistente. Al naso note di malto, toffee, esteri, leggero tostato, noce caramellata. In bocca è cortissima e veramente banale, acqua e zucchero, inconsistente. Corpo esile, watery, carbonazione soft. Pessima.

Tap at SteyrerHof in St. Veit an der Glan-Austria. Pours a clear and bright amber color, medium off-white foamy head. Nose has an amber relevant character, signs of oxidation perhaps wrong balance of hops and malts. Mouth: medium body, sparkling mild bitterness, amber malts dominate but tasty and easy. Tap at SteyrerHof in St. Veit an der Glan-Austria. Dark amber/mahogany hazy color, frothy off-white cap. Nice appearance but not the one you expect from this style. Nose: rich chestnuts honey, biscuits, pastry, almonds. Nice. Mouth: medium carbonation, lovely caramel notes, crust and a redundant bitter finish. Tap at SteyrerHof in St. Veit an der Glan-Austria. Golden pale semi clear pour, frothy white foam a bit off-white. Nose: pils malty notes a bit on the sweet crumb side, honey too. Kalea Bier-Adventkalender 12.12.2016 (Österreich-Edition) Das erste Bier bei dem ich so neugierig war, dass ich es noch am gleichen Tag trank, in dem es im Kalender zu finden war In dem Punkt, dass man das BIer in einem Zug austrinken könnte, muss ich meinen Bewerter-Kollegen zustimmen. Das Bier ist aufgrund seiner Milde sehr süffig. Für manche mag es ein bisschen langweilig wirken, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Als Einstieg in einen gemütlichen Bierverkostungsabend auf jeden Fall sehr gut geeignet.

Bottled 500ml. -Hazy orange coloured, medium sized white head, banana and light yeast in the nose. Light caramel, yeast, fruits and strong banana with mild cloves in the finish. Bit thin but all in all ok weizen.
