Draught @Brauereigasthof Winkler, Lengenfeld. Poured into an unusual footed dimpled glass (heavy!). Opaque chestnut brown colour, small frothy beige head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, bit basement. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, dark bread, nutty notes. Sweetbitter sugary middle part, leading to a dry malty finish with roasty notes, medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. The 33cl. bottle version is quite similar but spicier and less fresh (rating 7.1).

Das Bier ist extrem spritzig, aber sonst etwas geschmacklos. Es ist sehr wässrig. Eventuell ganz gut, wenn es draussen heiß ist, aber sonst muss ich sagen, dass ich enttäuscht bin.

50cl bottle. Pours clear dark amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, sugar, toffee. Taste of sweet malt, brown sugar, bread, not bad!

Bottled 500ml. -from Getränke Degenhart Passau. Dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and whiff of butter in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, bread, mild nutty and touch of spices with weak roasty touch in the finish. Nothing more nothing less than ok.
