Enormous thanks for Cuso for sharing this with us! Golden body. Minty honey aroma, light alcohol. Sweet minty taste, without many traces of fermentation really, simple, clean, with a freshness that prevents it from being cloying - enormously tasty!

Intensely aromatic, spiced, similar mix to Slovak Demanovka. Otherwise there actually is light mint. Very easily drinkable, tasty.

Shared by Cunningham, thanks a lot! Nice golden colour without head. Sweet, floral and slightly spicy aroma with notes of ginger. Tasty and flavourful mead, a bit too sweet, but surprisingly easy to drink.

Clear nutty color with no head. Rich honey, floral and ginger in the aroma. Medium + body. Oily and a bit sweet. Rich honey, fruity, floral, herbal and ginger in the flavor. A very nice twist with ginger made this one rare and quite fresh. Recommendable.

Clear golden color with no head. Rich honey and some flowery notes in the aroma. Medium + body. Oily and a bit sweet. Dry ending. Rich honey, berries fruity and very floral flavor. Not my cup of mead. But could not fine anything wrong with it.

Bottle at Reading Beer Festival 2015. Clear gold no head. Nutty nougat mead honey aroma. Wow that’s lovely. The finish is like vegetables but in a good way. Like carrots but not quite carrots. That is awesome sweetness up front character dry character underneath. Wow. Lovely. Still it’s got carrots. Simon would have loved it. God bless him.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - no VS000860, from Alko, 20150430) The drink poured deep golden andd clear. It looked quite oily. Aroma had honey, citricness and mildly cowhouse. Palate was medium bodied and dry with very low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, citricness, honey, something farmhouse-like and mild spiciness. Aftertaste had citricness and honey. A nice drink is small quantities but will turn mildly off-putting after one glass.

750ml bottle from Alko. Pours golden color, deep, no head. Lots of honey in aroma, sweet, wood like notes. Has some sweet white wine character to it, mixed with sweet honey. Round, smooth, easy sipper. Pleasant. One of my first mead ratings, so not much reference. Will try more meads for sure.
