From barrel at Middle Farm. It pours very pale golden yellow. The nose is massive on the sweet honey, syrupy, spicy background and some sweet white grape. The taste is honey, pear, sweet apple, white grape, spice (cinnamon and clove in particular) and some alcohol warmth. Medium body (for a mead anyway) and oily mouth-feel. Coats the inside of the mouth. Pretty smooth and well balanced. Tasty in small doses.

Amber color. Some aroma of honey and caramel, honeycomb. Semi sweet flavor, with caramel, cane sugar, and little honey flavor.
Pleasant, sweetish, but also basic.

Golden color. Very nice aroma, with honey, perfumy, fruity (strong), a bit soapy too. Dense, sweet, with a very nice fruity character (prunes…), and a light woody touch; it has correct acidity; in the final there is a trace of bitterness (undesired). Very good.

Pours a lovely peachy-orange colour. The nose has dry sour apples with a creaminess. The taste is of peachy-yoghurt, rather than a particularly big apple flavour. The palate is medium in structure, the texture is tight and long and lean and this continued into the long drying sour finish. Overall, I like this a lot, real scrumpy.
