At Craft Bier Festival Rapperswil. Berries, fresh smell. Quite a tart taste, but not complex at all. Hazy milky weird color with white head.

Tap at CBF. Pours milky muddy. Quite sour, some tartness, aggressive. I’ve had better.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal and quite bready as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some alcohol as well as mild fruity, peppery and grassy notes. Actually hides the 9 % abv rather well. Rather hoppy nose for a bock.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy amber, rich gushing head. Aroma of canteloupe and ripe fruits. Sweet and minerally, salty and yeasty with vague notes of tangerine. Low bitterness. More yeasty than hoppy.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden, brief head. Fruity nose with with noteworthy alcohol and almondy Belgian style yeastyness. Sweet and grainy with medium body. Slivovic and licorice. Pineapple and white pepper in a heated finish. More boozy than malty, more Belgian ale than bock in the flavour profile.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy straw colour, rich lively head. Spicy nose with ginger, aromatic herbs and viola. Fairly sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Honey and orange. Low bitternes. A flavourful, relaxed witbier, on the sweet side to be really refreshing.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, dark amber colour with a beige and diminishing medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty (turpentine) and slightly mouldy malty aroma with distinctive notes of milk chocolate and a subtle fruity touch. Slightly sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Chocolatey and slightly fruity, also a bit musty taste; moderately sour-fruity finish with notes of chocolate and cellar. Unconvincing. 06.VII.11

Bügelverschlußflasche (kindly delivered by Koelschtrinker!): Cloudy, mid-sized fluffy head, quickly collapsing and leaving rings on the glass, lots of floaties; sourish nose with a good dash of turpentine - caused by necrotic yeast; light to moderate sourish flavour, light bodied; short sourish-grainy finish with - indeed - a touch of chocolate. Infected, but also otherwise not very impressive.....

Bitterer Abgang, wenig Kirsche. Ein unausgewogenes Bier, dennoch interessant. 9/8/8/9/7/8
