Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - bright cherryade with a nice fluffy pink-white head. Steady carbonation. Nose - big cherry and cherry lozenge notes. Underpinned by light spice and candied fruit from the saison yeast. Taste - sweet cherry up front, some wood. Dry saison yeast kicks in through the middle and end leaving a clove and white pepper note on the finish. Palate - medium-ish bodied, then lean and dry through the middle and end. Overall - it's good gear, this.

Keg at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeasty, grassy tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh, crisp, fruity, dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fresh, fruity and very nicely bananced.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Keg. Murky orange beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, creamy sweetness. Nice limey pine. Light sweet floralness. Tangerine and tangerine peel. Modest grapefruit and hop spice. Smooth finish. Like the piney limey vibe here!

Hazy golden, white head. Sharp, grassy grapefruit smell. Taste is similar, with a bit of sweet citrus. There's not a hell of a lot else to it that I'm picking up but it's sharp, distinct and very tasty. You don't have to be complex when you've got a few flavours you can pick out this clearly. Smashing.
