From a 440ml can on 25/5/2026. Pours near black with virtually no head. Has a lovely strong choc coconut nose. On the sip it's a sublime blend of milk and dark chocolate, Cherry Ripe coconut, marshmallow and vanilla, leading into a firmish bitterness with a touch of roastiness that takes the edge of the sweetness perfectly. Has a slick, lightly syrupy, chewy palate with moderate carbonation. Wow, this is incredible. The best beer I've had in quite a while.

From a 440ml can on 24/5/2026. Pours an opaque deep amber with a big head. The nose features light banana and clove. Tastes pretty might like a dunkel hefe, with a bit of extra tang and spice at the back. Full bodied with average carbonation. More than decent.

From a 440ml can on 23/5/2026. Pours an ultra clear golden with smallish head. The nose features some orange and lemon, with a dash of pine. There's some biscuity malt and sweet citrus up front, leading into a mild to moderate but lingering pine resin bitterness, featuring some distinct lemony notes. Fullish body, with a slick palate and average carbonation. Unusually sweet for a WC, and pretty easy drinking for something this big, but has enough going on to keep you interested.

From a 440ml can on 21/4/2026. Pours a hazy golden with a medium head. The nose is punchy tropical and citrus fruit. Tastes of pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, orange, lemon and lime, with the last two presenting in a firmish tangy lingering bitterness. Presents as a heavy hitter with lots of flavour, character and general heft. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Very nice stuff.

Can, bb 12/26. Clear golden amber with a fat cap of white head. Shyish aroma of kumquat, nectarine, boiled lollies. Fruit doesn't really sing in the taste either with stone fruit, lolly-like malt and nagging bitterness.

From a 440ml can on 17/2/2026. Pours a hazy golden with a big foamy head. Smells of orange and peach with a touch of lemon sherbet. All of that appears in spades on the sip, with some lemon and lime at the back. Has a firmish, lightly green finish that provides really nice balance. Pillowy mouthfeel with moderate to average carbonation. Another good'n from Canberra's best brewery.

Can. Clear mid brown, a beige head is soon less than a coat. Aroma of dried fruit, spices, dough - pretty recognisably the Chimay yeast. Lacks the rumble of the Blue but nice taut dough, dried fruit (perhaps a little much banana for me), spices that resist heavy-handedness. In that zone of strong for what it offers/ hides the alcohol well. Impressive.

From a 440ml can on 23/12/2025 (shared with Ed and Butz. Pours a dark amber with pretty much no head. The nose is typical big Belgian yeast and fruit. It's vey Chimay Blue on the sip. Plummy, with dark and dried fruit, yeasty, finishing with a moderate bitterness and a hint of warming booze. The plate is lightly syrupy and carbonation softish to moderate. A very nicely put together homage to a classic.

From a 440ml can on 18/12/2025. A collab from Canberra's best brewery and best beer shop! Pours a cloudy medium golden with a biggish head. The nose is bright, with tropical fruit (pineapple and melon) dominating. It's kind oat creamy on the sip, with sweet pineapple, passionfruit, melon with some lemon presenting in a modest bitterness. Has a pillowy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. This a cracker - super tasty and super smashable.
