Can from Le Collier. Lovely grapefruit nose, mandarin oranges, light bready malts. Deep orange, cloudy, with a fine, bubbly head. Grapefruit pulp and zest, oranges, very bitter. A bit of Chinese medicine. Smooth and crisp body. Good stuff, just a bit too bitter.

From a small palstic cup at Keyaki Hiroba. Pours pale, a bit golden, slightly hazy. Aroma has some skunky hops, no fruits but kind of earthy. Herbal and sweet also perhaps. Taste has some good strength hop bitterness, medium body. Would like to have this in a pint glass.

From a small plastic cup at Keyaki Hiroba. Pours nice pale, golden. Very fresh aroma, clean hops. Taste is also nicely dry hopped but still very well balance with a light body. Truly easy drinking, fruity but not too malty. Really nice actually.

On tap at the GJBF in Osaka 2014. A clear deep copper pour. Big resinous pine hoppy aroma, medium bodied with a sprightly mouthfeel. The taste is fruity pine hop balanced by solid malts, veering on the bitter side but that is perfect for an IPA.

On tap at the GJBF in Osaka 2014. 5% Deep copper pour, solid resinous bitter hop aroma. Very dank. Medium bodied, zesty mouthfeel. Mostly some light pine hoppiness but a solid beer.

Tap at Ant ’n Bee, Roppongi. Murky yellow color, good creamy white head. Aroma has fruity banana and citrus. Medium-bodied. Flavor has banana, tartish salt water notes. Fizzy. Should this be like this?

Tap at Keyaki. Estery nose, oranges, some tropical fruits. Sweet, fruity, coconut, toffee, butterscotch. Too sweet and too much diacetyl.
