On tap at the restaurant, near Kressbonn, Lake Bodenessee, Germany, 14-06-10 Sat drinking this whilst admiring the views looking out across the vineyards and over to Lake Bodenessee. It has taken me a little while to add this beer and I’m still not certain that it’s all correct, so if any German admin wishes to make any changes feel free as I’m not sure of the style other than it was described thus - Max and Moritz Molkebier, Leicht, Spritizgund Vollim Geschnack. I was told that it was under 3% and from looking around I understand that it may have used whey or milk based derivatives. I found this to be clean, refreshing and surprisingly tasty given the low abv, it poured mid gold with some haze, busy carbonation white head, bit tangy. Pleasant beer. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Pours deep orange colour with a very hazy thin white head. Nice beer, refreshing, aroma little unusual instead of the expected banana, cloves etc (I did get them) I noted some steamed vegetables. Yeast and more Hefeweizen like flavours in the mouth, soft as well, good stuff despite that unusual aroma. . A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Pours amber with a white bubbly head and very slight haze. This is the least carbonated beer that I’ve had so far in Germany. Quite strong in the mouth, a little sticky, sweet and malty. draught at the brewery restaurant & bottled @ home. Clear golden colour with an amber glow, large and creamy head. Malty-hoppy nose with a fruity character. Starts surprisingly mild. Malty background with shy hop flavours (resiny, grassy with a flowery touch) and a nice fruity touch (citrus fruit/tangerine/clementine). Well-balanced but a bit too mild. I would have loved the flavours to be much more intensive.

draught at the brewery restaurant. Hazy pale golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Lovely hoppy aroma with hay and grass, a bit resiny. Light- to medium-bodied, malty background with pleasant hoppy flavours: resiny, grassy with hints of hay and an intensive floral touch. Lingering hoppy finish.

draught at the brewery restaurant, sample shared with Allen (Hallo!). Cloudy pale yellow colour with a large and persistent creamy white head. Fruity-yeasty nose. Wheaty malt flavours, not as fruity as many other beers of the style but the typical banana flavours were clearly detectable. A nice example of the style. Not exceptional but good solid quality.
