Aroma of dark malt, caramel, candy sugar, fruity notes, hint of chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a smooth sweet finish. A bit much for my taste. Otherwise okay Dubbel if you like the style.

Aroma of fruits, citrus, orange, yeast, spicy notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. I liked the aroma, lots of fruity notes, but it’s too bad about the huge sweetness.

As "Lambertus Magistraat" at the brewpub. Aroma of dark malt, ripe fruits, hint of liquorice, spicy notes, hint of chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a smooth sweet finish. Only slightly boozy. I did detect some diacetyl. Somewhere between a Quad and a Barley Wine. Decent beer.

Aroma of fruits, some citrus, yeast, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Also a bit acidic. Also seemed to detect some diacetyl. Not very good I’m afraid, unbalanced.
