Description
Bullfrog Brewery is a proudly independent and multiple award-winning craft microbrewery, brewpub, and eatery nestled comfortably in the vibrant heart of downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Born of fortuitous circumstance and ambitious aspiration, we opened in August of 1996 with a committed 'focal on local' philosophy and a simple yet lofty goal ... to be the place that people need to spend time, to brew beers that people need to have in their life, to offer food that people need to eat, to offer live music that people need to hear, and to be the place that our beloved staff need to work. Bullfrog beers are renowned far and wide, especially our artfully-crafted, barrel-aged wild ales such as Le Roar Grrrz and Rood Bruin. Here at "The Frog," we celebrate life by creating outstanding and memorable beers, food, friendships, and moments.

Raspberry, blackberry and some light grapefruit. Lime. Very nice balance. Murky ruby pour with decent head. I like this even more than I remember liking the other variants I've had of this. Tart finish. A little raspberry seed bitterness. Bottle.

Pours a hazy brown from a bottle. Tart fruity aroma and flavor, not getting much apricot in particular. Funky, sour, quite brightly acidic. Good beer.

2014 bottle, bought at Mikkeller. Hazy reddish brown with off-white head. Caramel, some tart cherries, a bit of lactic acid, red grapes. This has aged beautifully!

Taster at brewpub. Muddy dark brown, tiny ring of head. Aroma is coffee grounds. Taste is more coffee, hint of chocolate crops up, but mostly bitter coffee flavors. Not my cup of coffee...err, tea.

Taster at brewery. Cloudy golden, patchy head. Light fruity, citrusy aroma. Taste is bready, biscuity malts with just a kiss of hops. Of course, after Edgar, I don't think anything could taste hoppy
