Description
Bullfrog Brewery is a proudly independent and multiple award-winning craft microbrewery, brewpub, and eatery nestled comfortably in the vibrant heart of downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Born of fortuitous circumstance and ambitious aspiration, we opened in August of 1996 with a committed 'focal on local' philosophy and a simple yet lofty goal ... to be the place that people need to spend time, to brew beers that people need to have in their life, to offer food that people need to eat, to offer live music that people need to hear, and to be the place that our beloved staff need to work. Bullfrog beers are renowned far and wide, especially our artfully-crafted, barrel-aged wild ales such as Le Roar Grrrz and Rood Bruin. Here at "The Frog," we celebrate life by creating outstanding and memorable beers, food, friendships, and moments.

Bottle shared by Eric, thanks! Pours a cloudy deep amber with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combo of acid with earthy grains and a bit booze. Flavor has sour red fruit and acid with some earthy grains and booze in the finish.

Hazy orange-dulled tan. Big steady off-white head. Top notch American sour, a little test tubey, but a great malt backbone and great effervescence. Big but still clean and drinkable. Duvel meets sour? Really excellent.

Shared from bottle. Poured a slightly hazy brownish-red color with a small white wispy head. Aroma was mashed raspberries, sour tart fruits. Flavor was full on raspberries. Really liked the tartness in the jaw. Very good.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at TFODRBSG 2012. A clear one, dark amber in color and topped by a small, light beige head. Berries, vinegar and some caramel maltyness in the aroma. Lightly vinegarish flavor with some berries and caramel. A touch of wood too. Full to medium body, tart and a bit heavy on carbonation. Lasting sourish finish with caramel hints. A rather nice one, but far from world class. 120818
