Bottle 87/378 @ Summer Gathering, Ulfborg. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown with a ruby hue. Aroma and taste are brett, fruits, caramel, malt, and vinegar. Nice and sour with a good amount of aciditiy.

Bottle shared at my house with Dennis. Pours pink berry with off white head. Nose/taste is black berry, wild yeast, oak, dry wood and light aged cheese. Finishes with moderately tart berry - mostly blackberry though hints of blueberry remain. Medium body.

Cloudy amber beer. Frothy white head. Semi crisp and dry palate. This is pretty sour for an IPA - yeasty Belgian sour. The sour start does lead seamlessly to hops, a little orange. Finishes dry and sour with a sour bitter aftertaste. Okay but not an experience I would like to repeat.

Cloudy amber beer. Slighty sour coca cola nose. Semi dry palate. Sour herby medicinal flavours with a splash of coca cola and some hop bitterness. Finishes dry and with more of the same. A little sour but its okay.

Cloudy dark red - brown beer. Malty nose. Neutral palate, low carbonation. Rich malt with a light touch of chocolate. The oaking is light providing a little softness and sweetness. Plummy fruit and aniseed alcohol in the semi dry finish. Not the best of BA Barleywines but alright.

Batch 2 #92 ‘08-750ml-shared by jtclockwork-pours cloudy amber with a foamy tan head and trailing lace. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel, yeast, pine/citrus/spice. Taste is spiciness then sweet medium malt-caramel, yeast, pine/citrus/spice hops. Medium body. Soft carbonation.

Bottle shared with Jcwatts. Pours muddy orange brown with off white head. Nose/taste of yeast, orange peel, bready malts, caramel toffee, pine and citrus. Hops mostly faded over time, but still some citrus and pine. Beer is well balanced and has held up tremendously well. Smooth - more of a Belgian strong now than an IPA. Medium body.

Bottle shared at the Philly tasting. Reddish brown pour with an off white head. Slight funk aromas mixed with dirt and leather. Mildly sour and acidic with good balance and a medium body. The taste is tart berry, some vinegar, oak, and vinous notes. Outstanding. Cheers to the guys in Philly for sharing all these wonderful beers...

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a medium sized beige head that left no lacing. The aroma was dryish and malty with light caramel and a hint of vague dry spices. The flavor was toasted caramel, orange, pear, faint dry spices and grapefruit. The finish was long with lingering caramel and spice. Medium body.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a large soapy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tart dark fruits and light caramel. The flavor was tangy and tart apple, pear and a hint of cinnamon. The finish was long, tangy and fruity with a lingering spiciness. Medium body. Ok.
