Description
Bullfrog Brewery is a proudly independent and multiple award-winning craft microbrewery, brewpub, and eatery nestled comfortably in the vibrant heart of downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Born of fortuitous circumstance and ambitious aspiration, we opened in August of 1996 with a committed 'focal on local' philosophy and a simple yet lofty goal ... to be the place that people need to spend time, to brew beers that people need to have in their life, to offer food that people need to eat, to offer live music that people need to hear, and to be the place that our beloved staff need to work. Bullfrog beers are renowned far and wide, especially our artfully-crafted, barrel-aged wild ales such as Le Roar Grrrz and Rood Bruin. Here at "The Frog," we celebrate life by creating outstanding and memorable beers, food, friendships, and moments.

One of the awesomely cool hookups from kramer @ BCTC’09. Probably the worst Bullfrog I have tried to date. Aroma is all cleaning product with sweet and sweaty sourness. Flavor is a ton of hoppy off putting bitterness and acetic cleaning product. I do not like what they were doing here

One of the awesomely cool hookups from kramer @ BCTC’09. Reddish murky color. Aroma is acetic, very stingy berry, sweet and stingy tartness. Flavor is a nice berry flavor with sour tinges. Very easy to drink to boot.

I think this was electic who shared this at BCTC’09, thanks Kev. The best of the sour Bullfrogs. Aroma is lactic thick blueberry with an earthy sourness and a burnt malty corn thang. Cool stuff. Flavor is stingy sour (not acetone) over a background of lightly sweet malts. The blueberry was great in the aroma.

One of the awesomely cool hookups from kramer @ BCTC’09. Color is completely cloudy, dark, murky golden. Aroma is some nail polish and light aceto-cherry sour. Flavor is much better with less of that assertive acetone and a nice lemon sourness with nice yeasty fruitiness behind it.7/3/8/3/15

Re-rate, this time shared by Levi, thanks. This was more of a grapefruit type of a sour. Got no nail polish this time. The aroma was full of funky grapefruit with light lemony bursts. Flavor was a bit flatter, less bright. Not really sour, just more of a funky-citrus character. Will keep this as the rating. 8/3/7/3/16.

One of the awesomely cool hookups from kramer @ BCTC’09. Poured with a large chocolate head atop a black body. Aroma is very lactic cocoa, dark chocolate, even some light vanilla, and a musky-milk. Flavor is spiky acetic over the dark malts (light roast and cocoa). Cherry comes through in the acetic aftertaste. Green apple skins mixed in there as well. Pretty good sour stout,. they are hard to make, the roast is not strong, which I like.

750ml bottle courtesy of ygtbsm94. Murky red color. Raspberry aroma with a touch of wheat. Smooth mix between Lambic and US Raspberry Wheat. Some Bretty sourness for sure, but still very drinkable and refreshing. Quite excellent.
