Slightly darker than usual for a pils, just a hint of haziness. Medium sized white head, good enough retention, not much lacing. Aroma: grainy malts with the slightest biscuity hint, a bit of honey, light grassy hops notes and maybe a floral hint. Average intensity, good definition; feels more like a helles aroma though. And indeed the pilsner hop character is quite subdued in taste too, with notes as per aroma (floral hops showing up a bit more). Light to medium sweetness and light to medium bitterness, none stands out in both taste and aftertaste. Again, good enough intensity and definition, no flaws. Lightish body with average carbonation, quite an easy drinker as mandatorily franconian. Overall: a fair one, but just very slightly a pils in character, could perhaps have scored some 0.2 more in the overall if it was labeled helles or export or something like that.

A beautiful clear deep golden, with just an orangeish hint. Average sized white head, good enough retention and decent lacing. Quite good intensity in the aroma, with a deeply sweet malty base (caramel, honey) and a lighter hay/grainy note; a bit of delicate grassy/herbal feel on the back, some dry floral hops notes. Feels well integrated. Taste notes follow the aroma: medium sweetness, low to medium bitterness. Leans slightly towards sweetness, but there's good overall balance in both taste and in a semi-dry aftertaste. Nice taste intensity and definition, maybe not 100% clean in finish/aftertaste. Medium body, slightly below average carbonation, feels quite fullfilling for the style while still retaining good drinkability. A very satisfying heller bock.

Deep gold with a foamy, white head of modest duration. Aroma of mixed grains, honey, peppercorn. Quite the hops bomb for a traditional German bock—it’s bitter, spicy, grainy, grassy and dusty the whole way through. Lingering warmth and bitterness. Body to the full side of medium, moderate carbonation. Made a decent first impression but lacks depth.

Can shared at ABC 2026, Müntlix. Chestnut brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, bready notes, herbal hops. Taste again caramel, toasty notes, herbal hops.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts fine malty, spicy. Light herbal touch. Fine grasy notes as well, shy bitter background. Finish again spicy-malty. Nice one!

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20260130) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, honey and lightly grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste grass, honey and bitterness. Clean and tasty brew.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy golden, firm head. Floral. bready nose. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Bread and honey. Deep malt. Mildly warming mid mitter finish.

Vielen Dank an meine Freunde Fiene und Marcel, die dieses Bier wiederum von ihren Freunden besorgt haben! Die Flasche sieht schlicht aus, aber gut. Das Bier im Glas tiefgolden, feiner Schaum. Leicht muffiges Aroma. Starts mild aber nicht lasch, fein würzig-malzig. Etwas grasig-hopfig im Hintergrund. Sehr dezente Bittere. Finish harmonisch. Grasig-würzig-malzig. Sehr süffig. Gut!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small and lacing, roughish white head. Lovely floral hop aroma. Medium body, a little rustic, grainy malts with a hint of sulphur and metal and a surprisingly good bitterness. Excellent! 281225
