1l PET-bottle from a stall at the Central Market Hall, Riga. Fantastic rye bread nose. The Kvass starts nice round malty. Lots of rye bread there, not too sweetish with an interesting slightly sourish rye bread aftertaste with a subtle smooth sourness. Nice one!

1l plastic bottle bottle from a stall at the Central Market Hall, Riga. Smoke in the nose, sourish hints. The beer starts very interesting. Sourish smokey, dry grainy. Extremely strange but very interesting. Woody straw, very soft, sourish smokey in the aftertaste. Long grainy smoky sourish straw aftertaste, very strange with a nice intense neutral bitterness.
Interesting stuff - really a nice example of a Latvian farmhouse ale. Funky as it should be!
