2l PET bottle from stall in Latvia Beerfest. Mixed sweetness in the nose – barley sugar and caramel. Pours a pale orange with a small white head. Typical Latvian diacetyl bomb in the mouth. Weak carbonation and sticky, cloying, syrupy sweetness with hints of chestnuts and cough syrup. Syrupy sweet finish up top, but alcoholic burning in the throat and stomach. Strength certainly isn’t hidden. Expect to see this one at the Tallinn Crap Beer Festival next year !
