Can, Žabac. Murky orange body, thick, creamy white head, medium retention... caramel and red apple aroma, bit dusty, vaguely herbal. Lean taste, chewed-up bubblegum, vaguely estery near the finish, pear, bit dry caramel. Solid mouthfeel, lean but creamy in the finish. Drinkable cheap hefe.

Can from Žabac. Creamy beige head, cola body. Caramel, tart plum jam aroma, honey. Honeyish creamy aroma, soft, sweetish, bit dry malty. Perfumey, ending dry-bitter. Ookaaay. Just unbalanced at times, with clashing flavors, but an underlying silkiness that I liked. Okay generic dark lager.

950ml can (Aldi).Orange with a large white head. Grainy and slightly fumey aroma with grass, some lemon, herbs. Sweet and not far off clean with grainy bread and some unwelcome fumey notes. Hops are not exactly vibrant but herbal and with decent bitterness. A bit less good than undistinguished but not incompetent. Fair enough for the price I guess.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks. Cloudy golden coloured, medium sized white head, whiff of banana and cardboard in the nose. Sweet caramel, faint banana, touch of cardboard and short finish. Could be worse.

Pours clear pale yellow with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma contains corn, malt, grain and can iron. Neutral onset in taste, then light malty sweet and a rather sudden, unpleasant light grainy and metallic bitterness in the finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Shabby.

Can from Žabac Food Outlet, of course. Murky golden body. Tired caramel & red apple fruity aroma, sub par. Dusty, oxidized, tired hefe, soft caramel maltiness and red apple. Sweet. Can be drunk and better than some... which doesn't mean it's good. At least it's not mind bogglingly awful as Tollheit.

0.5l can. Hazy golden body with a white head. Aroma of mostly banana, honey and cloves but initially it also has a bit of a soapy character that is a bit disturbing, but not too bad and disappears quite quickly. Taste of banana, cloves, bread and lemon zest. The taste fades very quickly leaving a spicy hoppy finish behind. Way too watery for a hefeweizen, but drinkable for sure.
