Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, Tap at Wild Rose Gasthof, 25/01/14. Clear pale golden with a thin off white covering. Nose is orange, bready notes, grass. Taste comprises light caramel, cereals, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy dry bitter notes in the closure. Ok pils.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, Tap at Wild Rose Hotel, 25/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is light citrus, bread dough, grass - a little thin. Taste comprises pretty much the same, not much depth on this one. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying closure. Ok Helles but lacks depth at the business end.

On tap at Wilde Rose Gausthaus Bamberg. Pale brown clear lasting off white head. Fuller in the mouth than the helles still got a good hop bite on the finish. Decent kellerbier but too clean. Too precise. Ues it’s got the malty feel and the hoppy finish. But a little too clean. Finish though is really dry. 7.0 re rate Wilde Rose Keller hoppy bitter kellerbier. Yep that super drinkable. Some good character. Nicely hoppy on the finish.

On tap at Wilde Rose Gausthaus Bamberg. Clear pale gold lasting thick white head. Enormously clean. Subtle noble fragrant hop on the finish. It’s good I really like it. Just stupidly drinkable. Love the lemon curd flavour which lasts into the finish. Wow. Drank this way too quickly. Good.

(In a Krug at Wilde Rose) (Assumed cloudy) Golden with a lasting white head. Maltyaroma with biscuit and bread crust character and herbal hops. Sweet malty flavour with herbal hops. Good, clean character.

At their Keller 10/07/2011. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish aroma with some bready malts and hedgerow fruit. Easy drinking, with more malty goodness and a bitter finish. Very quaffable.

From tap at the biergarten. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is estery and dry. Yeasty, sweet and slight fruity. Lingerng estery dry and estery finish.
