Keg at Barfusser Ulm, 06/02/15. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is light bread dough, pale malt, citric peel, straw. Taste comprises pale malt, grassy, vanilla, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate helles - nothing standout.

Draugh version @the Ulm Hausbrauerei. Colour opaque brownish black with almost no head. Aroma of caramel, touch of coffee and some vanilla, roasty, doughy yeast. Taste mild sweet and bitter, like a stout, medium body and very smooth with a sweet finish and some soft bitterness at the end.

Draught non-filtered version Ulm Hausbrauerei. Colour cloudy yellow, lasting white head of half a centimeter. Rich malty aroma, floral hops, dough, cooked vegetables. Fresh taste, mild maltiness followed by mild bitterness, good balance of hops and malts, very fresh and soft. Medium body, buttery texture, medium carbonation, mild bittersweet finish. The bottled version (only on sale in the Hausbrauerei) is filtered and therefore clear yellow with a touch of haziness but cloudy when poured completely, even somewhat cleaner and crispier regarding taste and aftertaste.
