Description
Since 1990, Barfüsser beer has been traditionally brewed in the Barfüßer house breweries according to the German Purity Law and a unique recipe. Since the brew kettles are integrated into the guest rooms, the master brewers can even be looked over at their work.

1l bottle from Barfüßer Ulm. Deep brown, almost black colour, mid-sized beige head. Chocolatey nose. Medium-bodied, malty with lots fo roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa powder. Slightly hoppy towards the finish. Smooth palate - all in a ll a nice one.

1l swing-top bottle from Barfüßer Ulm. Hazy golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty-hoppy aroma, grainy touch. Medium-bodied, solid malty base with a grainy-bready touch and hints if yeast that add a shy fruity touch. Shy hops tune in towards the finish, slightly grassy.

swing top bottle 1000ml. -Brownish coloured, small to medium sized pale beige head, malty nose with hint of coffee and smoke. Light roasted malt, hint of coffee and hops with mild sweetish bitter finish. Unfortunately pretty watery and ordinary.

Bottled. Deep ruby red colour, close to black, with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, quite caramelly along with some dark dry fruityness. Flavour is caramel malts, some raisins and also mildly burnt sweet wooden notes.

Tap. Orange, banana, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange amber color with big head. Slightly sweet orange, banana, and wheat malt flavor. Light bitter finish. A top rate weizen.
