Cloudy golden with medium white head. Aroma is butter, some hoppy grass. Taste is herbal stuff, earthy bitterness. A little foamy in the mouth. Buttery but not bad.

At the brewpub. Aroma is grassy hops, buttery. Taste is buttery, grassy hops, a bit citrusy, vanilla. Bitter finish. Medium carbonation. A butter bomb, but a nice one.

Cloudy copper with little beige head. Aroma is butter, nuts, smoke? Taste is more nuts and butter, good mixed bitter and sweet. Really smooth mouthfeel, buttery again. Not too heavy and not at all phenolic. Nice. The butter is of the good kind this time.

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is butter pretzel with some humidity. Actually everything is exactly that. Oily mouthfeel. Actually quite nice.

Tap at the brewpub. Golden color, surprisingly clear, with white head. Aroma is diac without limits, the craziest butter bomb of the weekend so far. Taste is incredibly buttery, like a Butterbreze where you’ve peeled off the salt. Not much more. Soft oily mouthfeel, like butter. A butter bomb, but I sorta like it - for some reason, I only find butter disturbing in non-franconian/czech pale ales. I like Butterbreze :>

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy copper brown with stable off-white head. Clear aeoma of yeast, with malty and bready touches. Sweetish flavour of malt and caramel, with some estery touches to it, complemented by bitter, hoppy notes. Mild, sweetish, estery aftertaste. Well-balanced and enjoyable.
