Cask handpull at The Berry, Walmer. Very dark brown, lasting thin beige head. Very decent mild. Yes, good malts, not overly roasty, just a good blend of malts. And it is mild and malty and weell put together. Good.

Bottle at home. Clear gold pour with a light, white head. Malty nose with some sweet bread. Nice favor, slightly bland, with mild caramel and bread, along with some light citrus, lemon and bits of grass. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Finishes crisp and mildly sticky, sweet with leafy bitters and faint bread. Alright.

Cask conditioned, handpump at The Lamb & Flag, Oxford, 11.02.11 Well this certainly looks like a beer and yet the aroma gives the impression that someone accidently dropped their aftershave into the cake mix, most unusual. Some vanilla in the mouth, amber in colour with a white head, a little fruity, but that aroma just knackers this for me. A4 A4 T4 P2 Ov8 2.2

Chestnut brown. Lightly toasty aroma. Toast vs. butter on the palate. Not terribly complex or exciting.

Cask, Three Judges, Glasgow. Light golden. Creamy head. The aroma is a bit buttery, malty-caramelly. Tastes largely of butter, with some toasty bitterness late.
