Bottled@SBWF2018. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roast, some liquorice, lcohol and nutty. Flavour is liquorice, wood, some alcohol and mild spiciness to it. Easy going.

Draught@SBWF2018. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some spices, yeast, bananas and mild toffee. Flavour is yeast, bananas, some spices and mild nutty notes. Nice spicy long aftertaste.

Sampled @ SBWF 2022. Poured hazy and light golden in color with a steady white head. Citrusy acidicness with some wheat and sourness in flavor. Light bodied.

Sample from bottle @ SBWF 2022. Vintage 2019. Poured mahogany in color. not much head. Full bodied barley wine with bready malts, warming alcohol, raisins and plummy desserts. Sweet but enjoyable.

--Keg at SBWF. -- Black, huge head. Caramelly nose nose with coffee and asphalt. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, coffee and licorice. Mid bitter finish.

Draught at the brewpub - Golden with a small head. Grapefruit and orange in the aroma. The taste is hoppy yet slightly earthy with notes of grapefruit, lemon and orange.
