Clear copper gold. Caramel and cooked apples with some stone fruit. Caramel and some dirty cooked apple. Not bad, but I would not drink this again.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Portland, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly sweet apple skins and a little apple core. Flavour is fairly dry and quite plain, with dry apple skins. Not much to this. Pretty lame but inoffensive.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a clear pinkish amber with almost no head. Nose brings out tart red apples and crisp apple skins. Flavour is tart and medium sweet, with lots of tart red apple, medium sugars, and caramel. Tart and acidic, with plenty of sugars. It's alright.

Can from Tavour. Pours ruddy/purple with a slight, transient head of uncertain color. Aroma of blueberry and apple skins. Approaching med body. Skin tartness. At first it seems more apple, and then it seems more blueberry. Dry with skin tartness.

Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours light cranberry juice color with a few bubbles. Aroma is cranberry with some ripe apple. Not quite med body. Flavor is tart/sweet apple cranberry but there seems to be quite a bit of cinnamon. Gonna have it with Xmas Turkey. :)

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Color on pour is dark red/violet, somewhere between red wine and grape juice. Subtle aroma, sweet, fruity, cherries. Bourbon Barrel doesn't show up until the taste, adding woody notes to the sweet cherry and apple flavors. More barrel than bourbon. Kind of tastes like a black cherry soda.

Bottle. A- Apples, slightly tart. A- Clear yellow liquid, clear color, no head. T- Green apple, mild funk, slightly sour. P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, slightly dry finish. O- Lots of granny smith apple and not too sweet. Pretty mediocre.

12 oz. Aroma is very floral, lavender coming through nicely; also the obvious apple notes, light matchstick, wet stone. Pours clear pale golden with a one finger bone-white head that collapses into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is moderately sweet and tart with lavender, apple and honey notes. Perfect mouthfeel. I like it.
