Description
Fonta Flora Brewery integrates the soul of agriculture with the artisanship of zymurgy to create a menagerie of rustic and savory libations. With an emphasis on seasonal flora, Fonta Flora brings English tradition and Belgian inspiration to the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina.
Fonta Flora utilizes local artists to help conceptualize the notion that fermentation is yet another medium for creating art. This uniquely artisan approach to beer yields a sustainable product filled with culture from our very own community.

Goblet in Nebo with my wife for the pawpaw event. Chalkboard didn't list the abv. :/
Oily brown on black coffee goblet pour.
Heavy vanilla & fruity black cake nose; boozy fumes.
Boozy maple vanilla, black cake, slightly nutty, chocolate frosting, faint herbal bitterness(not enough), sticky lips.
Mellow abv despite the initial nose.
Too sweet.

On tap for paw paw fest at the Nebo farm with my wife.
Mgd classy, oily gold, lingering film.
Dank & pawpaw mango nose.
Marigold, herbal bitterness, oily onion, some white wine, some astringency on the tail, lingering herbage.
Crispy, irritating acid, a little stiff.
Slightly better than the OG.
Good.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy, milky yellow pour, small foamy head eventually erodes away. Fruity aroma, faint dank notes, hint of strength. Taste is tropical (mostly), light stone fruit, traces of citrus zest. Mouthfeel leans toward thick. Fast finish.

A replacement draft during pawpaw fest. Some double IPA I didn't have fell off.
Vibrant cranberry juice pour, weak head.
Grassy, marigold, slightly dank nose.
Hyper herbal, obvious earthy red beet juice, unsweet carrot, lingering grassy.
Thin, dry-dry, sizzling carb.
Flavor is just earthy beets, so this doesn't hit.

Hazy, honey gold, lathery goblet in Nebo with my wife.
Floral, vanilla custard, something like pear, soft banana nose, Savingon Blanc tropical.
Twangy, white wine, grassy, bitter earth stops it from getting sweet. Grainy saison-like finish.
High acid, tart but not crazy sour.
Good not great.

The rum and bourbon notes on this are just to die for. Sweet Brown sugar, vanilla, caramel all over the place.

Can from Tavour. Pours very hazy gold with a decent white head. Aroma of orange and peach. Very heavy body due to lots of carbonation. Juicy and not dry. Enough bitter to balance. Flavor is orange, white peach and something else. The flavor is very good.

16 oz. can, thanks to Timmy! Pours a clear, golden color, with no real head. The nose is caramel, dried limes, caraway, and light grass. Sweet and sugary, with a mellow, citrusy bitterness. Medium body, smooth, and clean. Mellow and pretty tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is tart/funk/sour. Med body. Flavor is tart/funk/sour. Herbal/floral flavor mix. A sort of non-peppery non-spice prickle. Not passion fruit or pineapple. Rather unusual but pleasing flavor.
