It pours a mostly clear straw yellow with an inch of foam, lacing is good.

The smell is cloves, banana, a bit of orange citrus.

The taste is cloves, banana, yeast, orange zest, good carbonation, good mouthfeel, good example of the style.

On tap at Stoup - Capitol Hill, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy, herbal hops, a hint of dankness, and bready malt. Flavour is rather piney, somewhat stone fruity, and herbal in the hop department, with a dry bready malt base. Piney, fruity and nicely bitter finish. Very good.

On tap at Stoup - Capitol Hill, pours a pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly subdued hop-wise, with herbal hops, sweet bready malt, and a hint of resins. Flavour has some piney hop oils, light herbal notes, and gently sweet bready malt. Reasonably structured but fairly timid. Well-made though.

On tap at Stoup - Capitol Hill, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a herbal, somewhat muted, earthy hop character, with a crisp bready malt backbone. Flavour is clean, revealing sweet bready malt, herbal hops, and a hint of pine. Underwhelming in the hop department but reasonably well-structured. Pleasant but one of the less exciting Stoup IPAs out there.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a clear pale blonde with a large white head. Aroma is full of bitter fresh hops, grass, straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and fresh, with bright straw, grassy hops, fresh bitterness, and toasted grains. Fresh, dry and vibrant. As good as this style can be.

It pours a beautifully clear amber with a finger of foam, excellent lacing.

The smell is caramel malt, hints of chocolate, toasty, perhaps nutty, wee bit of suggested bitterness.

The taste is caramel and toasted malt, chocolate, minimal bitterness but anything but on the sweet side. A little grainy when I swish the beer in my mouth.

Good mouthfeel.

I feel that there might be too much going on; kind of like the label art.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is oily and dank, with lots of oily dank hops and doughy malt. Flavour is dry, bitter, oily, and dank, with lots of pot-like hops, oily dank hops, and biscuity malt. Very oily, quite dank finish. Very good.
