Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.
Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.
Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

Tap at Half Acre. Unfiltered dulled orange-tan. Foamy white head. Intense fruity tones, soft white grape tones. Less refined than a classic Belgian, but way better than most US examples. Funky, fruity high fermentation temperature tastes aplenty. Teetering on the edge of infected tastes, but pulled back in. This one tries hard, but isn’t quite there. Comes off pretty big for the ABV, a touch brutal. OK, but imperfect.

13oz tap at Half Acre. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Frothy, soapy off-white head. Great citrus, tropical aroma. Massive, awesome IIPA for 2013. Big tropical tones, mango, island fruit, citrus. Quite excellent, cooling and refreshing. Some piny bite after awhile, the 10% ABV begins to show. Absolute monstrous hop tones on top of a big golden malt backbone. A beast of a beer, very reminiscent of big FFF IIPAs.

On tap at Bangers & Lace. Pours a clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great big pine note with a bit of resin and a touch of bread. Flavor has same strong pine note with a hint of grapefruit and resin.

Om draught at The Girl & The Goat. Dark brown color with a thin tan head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, roasted nuts and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

From a 0.5l can @ Borefts 2013. A blurry really bright golden one with a small bubbly bright white head. Smells of nice gentle hops that combined with a light citrus and mineral water touch makes a really good nose. Is there even a hint of peach here? The can this comes from has been standing in the sun for some time, but it does not matter. It still taste pretty darn good this. Really fruity and tasty. Well hopped and fruity with apricots and those small long peaches. Don't know what they are called. Impressive stuff. 27.09.2013

22oz shared by MrPickles. Burgundy brown body. Big foamy beige head. Big berry flavor on top of oily sweet malt. Sweet plum, prune tones. Tangy. Kind of like a fruit-edged Porter. Unique.

Gold and Bronze Nose is great…resinous, almost cheesy. Very sweet…loads of caramel and toffee. Almost like an ice cream sandwich without the chocolate. The pine cone rocks and it’s insanely clean, almost mineral like

22 oz. bottle aged a year. Dark amber color light head retention. Really nice sweet nose, raisin, sugar plums, candy sugar. Flavor reflects the aroma. The hop variety you can tell was here and now has been over taken by the sugary malts. Citrus flavor toward the finish with carbonation giving a slightly creamy and smooth finish. The complex malts may only get better with time. I enjoyed this an awful lot.
