Description
Brewery closed, brand still existing brewed at owners facilities (Gräflich von Mengersen'sche Dampfbrauerei Rheder).

Draft at the Knallhütte with PCI and CEI. Brown with a creamy head. Roasted grains and metal on the aroma. Faint banana, pepper and caramel. Taste is bitter throughout with lingering toffee. Body to the light side of medium, mildly watery texture. Decent Dunkles.

CLoudy pale yellow with a perfect white head. Wheat bread, spicy yeast, unripe banana, leather, some hop. Dry. Low to light bitterness. A bit strange. But OK.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a solid and lacing, white head. Nice floral hop aroma. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, very clean malts and hardly any bitterness whatsoever. But a nice quencher for people who fear hops. 090325

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a rough, lacing, white head. Malty nose. Medium body, sweet grainy malts with sufficient hops for balance. But a little rough for a Helles. 090325
