500 ml can. Medium golden. Fruity, creamy nose, orange, lemon, stone fruit. Somewhat sweet, fruity flavor, stone fruit and citrus. Not sure if the Saphir hops couldn't have been put to a better use, but this was decent enough.

Can from Yamaya. ¥205. Cheap. Pours a bright, clear gold with a tall, effervescent head. Proper helles nose. Bready malt, a touch doughy, with light, lemony hops and some herbality. Flavor is fruity and sweet with a sofy breadiness and a touch of dough. Lightly bitter in the finish. AS bit too highly carbonated, but soft besides that. For a cheap, industrial Japanese helles, it's not bad at all. It's not an Augustiner, of course.

From one Japanese shop, in Paris. It is a regular lager, smooth and pleasant, bready, classical hop, a bit watery, simple and refreshing, 28.03.19, at Epalinges.

Can on the train. Very pale amber, thin looking. Mild fruity nose, cherry, apple, light caramel. Flavor is thin and weak. Cherry, apple, tin, almost no malt character, light spicy hops. Pretty crap.

Can from a New Years' gift set. Pours a very cloudy golden orange with a medium, thick head. Definitely looks like an unfiltered Kellerbier, although they do not use the German terminology. Malty, yeasty nose also fits the style, slightly doughy or worty, with fresh white bread, orange and lemon, and a touch of honey. Flavor is slightly sweet, very bready, a bit worty, rich, citrus. Nicely bitter finish. This is pretty great.
