(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 19 Dec) Mahogany colour with ruby notes. Brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, yeasty nose with notes of dried fruit and prunes, sweetish. Aroma leaning in the standard Belgian ale direction. Malty, spicy, roasted and yeasty taste with dried fruit (prunes, apricots), brown sugar and spicy hops. I’m not really overwhelmed, but it’s a tasty and well made brew.

75 cL bottle. Pours hassle nut brown with off-white head. Nice round caramelly and malty smell which is also dominating the taste together with slight herp elements that I cannot make out and carbonation (little). Well balanced beer, pleasent no surprises.

Bottled(330ml). -Deep brown coloured, medium sized tan head, fizzy. Nice spicy nose. Aroma is malty and spicy with caramel, chocolate and honey notes. Spicy, subdued yeasty and slight sweet finish. To be honest I was expecting much better beer.

Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. Brown head leaves slight lacing as it slowly recedes. Plum and fig aromas. Sharp and dry mollases, cinammon, nutmeg and plum with a lasting bitter finish.
