Sweaty tulip pour at the source.

Matte black on brown, not appearing very dense, lingering sticky pale tan head.
Earthy & bold roasted chocolate nose, it's like grandma is making hot chocolate.
Intense chocolate & ash, clenching bittersweet & lingering husky baker's chocolate. Feels like there's a half pound of unsweet coco nibs in my glass.
Dusty, slightly tacky, salivating, medium to slightly harsh carb & whatever abv.

This is great.

At the source.

Black on brown, lingering tan head.
Savory smoke, fresh barrel, melty malt nose.
Gentle dark fruit, cheerios, building smokey chocolate barrel. Appropriately bittersweet.
Thin & chalky, strong enough, everlasting frothy.

Just okay.

Fake cask at the source. Just pumping for kicks.

Dimpled stein. Pale gold, very slight protein haze, everlasting whitewash mushroom head.
Floral, honey, cracker meal nose.
Sweet n gentle grain, honey, floral, subtle menthol, cooked savory veggies.
Slick, constant pillowy carb, appropriately thin, bright pH, enticing sipper.

Solid score despite the style being quite terrible.

Rainy day at the source.

Pint. Clear, pale gold, active, super frothy.
Herbal & dry cracker nose.
Clean herbal & rindy bitterness, veggie middle, very light & lingering pith on the tail. Too veggie.
Prickly, constant carb, mostly dry, some subtle acidity brightness.

Quaffable.

Clear, MGD pour. Sticky malt & salty cracker nose. Frothy, mild cracker, very level acid, thin, ghost hit of clove, slight astringency on the tail. Slightly oily, thin body, very sloshable. Super even front to back, no sizzle. Really liked this.

7oz pour at the brewery on a quiet afternoon. Dark cola, brown highlights, sticky head. Medium roast & gentle char nose. Cola & coffee milkshake. A little caramel. A little milk chocolate. Bittersweet but pretty mild on the tail. Tame & good.

Found myself with 45 minutes & way too close to Patton. Full pour on a lazy afternoon. Clear, classy gold, nicely frothy. Veggy & green strawberry nose. Citra, strawberry, some raw onion. Thin cracker, lemon, some salt. Bittersharp & a little sweet. High acid, obviously thin, very carbed. Kinda good, better if it wasn't as sweet. Maybe I don't hate these.

On tap @Diatribe. Matte, mellow brown on black pour with a weak cookie head. Sharp coffee & a little chocolate on a holiday spiced biscuit nose. Roasty, sharp, sweet biscuit, very figgy, slightly herbal bitterness but not all that sweet. Medium quaff, a touch & a half thick, medium high co2, lovely milky texture & stiff earthy bitterness on the tail. Best thing I tried here. Low balling the score so I don't look like a homer.

Clear, oily, medium gold, sticky head. Sharp & catty hop nose, some initial sweetness. Taste is mellow saltines initially, bitter crust, herbal & catty hops coming in stiffly then dies. Saline finish. Tis okay.

First beer on site, first RB rate. Clear, copper, extra foamy pour. Slick, buttery toast, marzipan, faint herbal hops, medium-light, strong forced carb, clean finish. Pedestrian but good.
