Bottle from the source after going over for a baltic porter flight.
Mojito glass at home. Hazy brown with a tall, oatmeal head that settles into a thin foam.
Caramel, red wine & some slight botanical on the nose.
On the thinner side. Smokey, slightly fruity from the cab, slight astringency, some acidity, red wine is really prominent, some itchy malt right at the very end.
Very easy drinking, manageable abv, soft carb, wish there was more in the bottle.

Pounder from the Diatribe mini-fridge. Goblet at home. They make an amazing chocolate porter with this base but won't bottle it.
Dark & dirty brown on black pour. Decent head, doesn't settle too quick.
Choco & licorice nose. Tiny bit of carob, flour & brown sugar.
Dark chocolate, caramelized brown sugar, brown malt, nice earthy bitterness, thin coffee finish, unsweetened coffee cake.
Great texture. Tiny bit of oil & tack on some half hearty body. Carb isn't too strong, abv is just under warming. Can easily have four of these.
Sloshable with a bunch of character. Great.

Dirty brown, slurry pour, a little above the .18L line.
Dried date & slight maple nose.
Strong coffee, hearty dark bread, molasses, slight burnt raisin but good attenuation, slight acidity, velvety prune tail. No big varnish-y dark fruit tail I usually associate with the classic stuff.
Slightly thick, not too forceful carb.
Great, but potential to be better.

Licorice, veggie & menthol nose.
Super sharp with bitter burnt raisin & sweeeet maple-y dates, subtle licorice & charred molasses. Couldn't finish my pour.

Deep roast but only moderately astringent. Very dark chocolate covered almond finish; Lingering chocolate. Liquorice. Touch of salt. Stout-y.
Medium acidity, pushy over-carb, robust, heavy & ashy body. Intense but not strong. Would have preferred a lighter feel.

Intense chocolate & ash, clenching bittersweet & lingering husky baker's chocolate. Feels like there's a half pound of unsweet coco nibs in my glass.

Clear, MGD pour. Sticky malt & salty cracker nose. Frothy, mild cracker, very level acid, thin, ghost hit of clove, slight astringency on the tail. Slightly oily, thin body, very sloshable. Super even front to back, no sizzle. Really liked this.
