Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Light amber to amber coloured, big persistent off-white head; solid sweet dark-malty nose with subtle fruits and hops underneath; sweet flavour, not cloying, medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering - mainly - sweet-malty finish, rounded by a light bitterness. Even though a bit on the sweet side, all in all a fine Dunkel.........

bottle, purchased at the very charming brewery. Clear deep dark brown colour wiht a persistent beige head. Sweet nose with hints of nuts. Medium-bodied, sweet malt flavours with a shy fruity touch (apples) and hints of chestnut. Shy hoppy background blending in. Beautifully accompanied the smoked sausage I’ve just had.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a huge and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with (chest-)nutty notes and a touch of caramel. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Moderately toasted malty and slightly nutty taste; sweet malt-accented, slightly toasty finish with a very restrained level of bitterness. Despite its sweetness a decent Dunkel. 09.IX.09

bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy pale yellow colour, large and fluffy white head. Aroma of wheat with a fruity touch. Lively carbonation. Light-bodied with a nice wheat character and a good malty background that adds a bit of sweetness. Shy fruity sourness tunes in later. Nice for a low alcohol beer.
