Description
We love beer and we love people! We think the global craft beer community is pretty cool, with barrels of knowledge to share. That’s why we’ve partnered with craft breweries in the UK, Germany, Belgium and Croatia to brew our first 7 beers as Ad Astra.

We started Ad Astra with the goal of creating really exciting craft beers in collaboration with other like minded breweries. Although we’re the new kids on the block, our team is made up of beer-know-it-alls, all with a love of collaborative brewing.

Take a look at our beers to get a taste of what we have in store.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A deep mahogany pour with a thin cream head; sweet coffee aroma; very sweet coffee taste; with a little chocolate syrup to finish. Too sweet for me.

330ml can from Beer52 - Pours a hazy gold colour with a small white head. Aroma is stone fruits, citrus and light pineapple. A moderately sweet and creamy mouthfeel, tropical and citrus fruit flavours with a hint of coconut and a moderate, drying bitterness.

Can at home, thanks to James, 03/02/24 Moderately hazed pale golden blonde with a decent enough white head. Nose is citric tinged straw, grass, pine nip, herb, melon, light coconut shavings, lemon rind. Taste comprises mellow citric pith, grass, hedgerow, light yeast, modest Sabro kiss, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Okay pale if a touch thin, Sabro noted.

Can from Beer52. It pours lightly hazy pale lemony yellow with a handsome fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, custard creams, zingy lemon.curd, stone fruits, dried apricot, peach and a touch of sherbet. The taste is fairly crisp and dry initially, pillowy malt base, floury bread, slightly chalky, pithy, zesty, lemon curd, grapefruit, peppery spice, grass and straw with a dry, pithy finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Decent enough. Drinks well.

Slightly murky looking and hazy dull straw colour with white head A - orange light tropical F - mandarin slight stone fruits and tropical not much body Its ok, for me it sits somewhere between a pale and an IPA, not quite enough body for a Pale and not quite enough hops for an IPA

Can from Beer 52, drank at home. Pour a golden amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has an oily resinous feel, alongside some mslts. In the mouth it is quite bitter with pine and juicy sweetness and some pepperiness underneath. It feels like there should be hops in there too, but I can’t detect sny. Bitterness lasts intothe finish. This is decent, if a little strange.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy peat brown pour with a thick beige head; roasted malt aroma; thin roasted grain body; and a dry toasty finish. Perhaps “inspired” by a Baltic Porter, but turning out more like a dark lager.
