Bottle. Pours a dark brown to black with good head. Aroma is malty, dark roasts. Light to medium body. Flavour is malty and smooth, balanced, some bitterness. Good amount of roast flavour from the malts, resulting in a smooth dark lager that is very easy to drink with enough to keep it interesting. A good representation of the style, just lacking a bit in depth and complexity.

bottiglia 33 cl 5,2% ABV, schiuma bianca media grana evanescente, colore giallo torbido, al naso leggero banana e cereali, in bocca chiodi di garofano leggero banana limone, carbonazione decisa, corpo leggero, watery, lieve acidula, amaro leggero. Tap at Solothurner Biertage. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is green apples, glue, burnt malts. Body is... Everything and nothing. Candy sour, fruit, but stables and caramel and burnt malts at the same time. Super offensive in every single step. Yuk!

0.33l bottle from kalea advent calendar. pours a slightly hazy pale amber with a medium head. aroma of malts, hay, caramel, cinnamon, gingerbread spice. flavour of ginger, brown sugar, prunes. fizzy carbonation. I'm not usually a big fan of spiced winterbiers, but this one is quite drinkable.
