Can from Stacks. Hazy ochre, small, foamy, white head. Intense aroma of papaya, pineapple, peach, thyme, shallot, cheese rind, diesel, gin, baba cake, dried orange peel. Taste has sweet peach, pineapple & mango turning towards bitter grapefruit, citrus pith, pepper & shallot with a subtle dank hashish note. Peppery & floral hops in the finish, quite an intense hop burn but still leaving room for juicy tropical fruits and bitter grapefruit. Warming gin-like alcohol and dank notes in the very end, slightly boozy, quite pungent all in all. Full body, fluffy texture, average carbonation. Intense, not the most refined example but bursting with flavour.

From a 355ml bottle on 31/12/2025 (shared with Ed and Butz). Pours a deep brown with a deep tan head that disappears quickly. Has a strong roasted coffee nose. Tastes of coffee, chocolate and brown sugar, finishing with a pleasant medium roasty bitterness. Has a silky slightly creamy mouthfeel with average carbonation. Balanced, lovely.

Can from Stacks. Hazy bright yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of orange rind, pineapple, papaya, lime, sherbet, coconut, fruit cake, scallion. Taste has sweet pineapple, papaya & peach over bitter citrus rind in a doughy, sherbetty malt body, tad spicy too. Bitter piney hops in the finish, lingering citrus pith, juicy stone fruit with a soft oniony hop burn. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Fairly juicy with a punch of hop burn.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A mild haze on this gold beer, small and very short lived off white head. Smooth palate, a very slight viscosity, decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, the sweetness somewhat masked by the natural sweetness of the various fruit adjuncts. Soft pine and a fairly aggressive hop spice mix with a tropical fruit cocktail. Mild citrus on the back end. Hmmm. Kinda works but, not a spectacular success in my book. Get yer fruits from the hops is always my preference.
