Ystad Tasting (25/11/2023) - big in your face coffee roast, some charred burnt brown sugar, cocoa sprinkles, more coffee roast, medium plus body, roasted malty finish. Lovely.

Can at home, courtesy of my fam for my bday.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a near clear deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malts, malty plum date fig like fruity esters, faint toffee and then some booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers sweet slick rich integrated maltiness blended toffee nuanced brown sugar stewed plums, dates and figs. Damn. Great sipper that will only improve with some cellar time.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Lactose upfront in the smell and aroma. Tropical with passion fruit, mango, vanilla. Some orange. Fruit puree. Pretty sweet with all that lactose, mild bitterness. Has a fruit puree kind of thickness. Close my eyes and I'm in a Tiki Bar. Overboard on the lactose.

Bottle. Pours black with slight amber hue and no head whatsoever. Aroma has toffee and a deep bourbon with oak and a hint of vanilla underlying. Flavor has caramel and sweet dark grains with a rich bourbon and some toffee coming through.

16 oz can from the Untappd Wild Year in Beer box. Aroma has notes of chocolate, clove, pumpkin bread, cinnamon, vanilla. Taste is fairly bitter, lightly to moderately sweet and a bit savory. Beautiful velvety mouthfeel. A top pumpkin beer for sure.

old rating from notes, I do not recall where I found this can. run of the mill pilsner that is perfectly drinkable, light to moderate hop flavors and a dry finish.

16 oz can from Half Time, 12/16/24. Pours dark brown with a nice larger creamy medium brown head. Rich pumpkin spice aroma with chocolate, vanilla, sweetened coffee, and caramel. Has almost a sweetened pumpkin coffee poured over vanilla ice cream thing to it. Incredibly rich. Very flavorful. Spice dominant. Fairly boozy. Interesting beer. This one ain't messing around, it is pack with flavor, boozy, just big all around. I would have preferred slightly less heat, but i have to admit it is quite good. Next time I'd probably tell myself to split this with a friend, 16 ounces is a lot. Still, I really enjoyed it. 9/4/8/3/17
