Lemon/apple, barley malt, and grass/hay aroma. Golden yellow with nice white head and moderate efffervescence. Moderately sweet lemon, creamy barley malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Good body.

Rated Aug. 2024. 2021 vintage poured up on tap at Tipsy where it exhibits a mahogany colored body that supports a decent enough tan head of foam. The aroma offers up smooth integrated notes of plum and date dark fruity esters as well caramel, a bit of molasses and then supple soft barrel treatment notes leading to some booziness. The taste delivers smooth reduced sugars blended into integrated plum and date and some sherry sweetness. To midway the supple barrel notes bubble up providing additional depth and goodness. This is a terrific sipper that maintains a silky smoothness countered with a boozy warmth bite.

Aromas are mainly malt and spice. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly on the sweet side with enough bitter and carbonation to balance. Satisfying. Good beer.
