16oz can. Grassy unappealing aroma, perhaps a non-traditional hop. Drinkable, but not really that good for the style.

16oz can. A rather unimpressive example of the style. Clean and clear, but lacks the crackery crisp balance, hop tone of the real thing. Drinkable, but doesn't really nail it.

16oz can. Bready, smooth, easy drinking. Pleasant hoppy balance. Not such a deep Czech feel, but a nice beer. I'm sure it would be even nicer from a lukr pour.

Sampled from the tap at Northern Taphouse. Pours black with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strawberry and dark grain with some chocolate and a bit of earthy roast supporting. Flavor combines dark chocolate and strawberry with a bit of bitter roasted malt.

16 oz. can. Pours black, with a smaller, fine, tan head. The aroma is vanilla, espresso, cinnamon, toffee, black pepper, and dark chocolate. Sweet and creamy, with a mild, sticky bitterness. Heavy body, chewy, and syrupy. Decadent and thoroughly enjoyable.

Black with a brown head. Intensely boozy with bourbon, caramel, brown sugar cocoa and dark fruit. Exceptionally long finish. Full bodied.

Slightly hazy orange-gold pour with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, citrus and tropical fruits, and sweet malt. The finish is slightly creamy with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pint can - dark amber pour with a thick off-white lace - super rich caramelized maltiness on the approach, leading to dark fruit (raisin, plum), dark bread, light spice - lightly warming finish with a touch of tamarind and lingering caramelized sugar - it’s really nice!
Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6.5
Hazy straw yellow to orange pour inch of foam, good lacing and head retention.
Smell is hoppy, spicy, fruity, somewhat sweet.
Taste is spicy, yeasty, hoppy bitterness, some fruitiness, candi sugar.
Good mouthfeel, good Saison.
