0.3 l bottle from AH (Sittard), best before October 2017. Clear, dark red with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, grainy and slightly grassy aroma of caramel, grains, straw and some raisins. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity taste of caramel, brown sugar, molasses, some raisins and a touch of plasticine, followed by a short, slightly bitter, slightly grainy-metallic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, but quite clumsy.

Can. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy bitter cardboard flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy bitter sweetish finish.

Bottle at home from AH XL. Clear orange/golden, pale amber with white head. Smell is bad. Sweet caramel and grainy malts, cardboard, some earthy bitterness, broccoli, puffed rice cake. Under medium sweet, nearly medium bitter. Medium bodied. Musty, stale, almost moldy and light alcoholic finish. Seemed very carbonated while pouring, but not so much while tasting. Cleaning out my beercloset. This one isn’t too bad though. Nice and sweet, not too herbal, easily drinkable but still a nice and lasting taste. Medium body, soft carbo, slightly smooth feel.

Tap at Bierfabriek Delft. Slight hazy light golden with white head. Nice malts here, biscuits, crackers, dry flour, slight musty grainy notes. Light herbs and a touch of lemon. Under medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium bodied. Nice.

0.3 l bottle from local AH, best before April 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains, straw and some caramel. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy aroma of grains, straw, some honey and caramel, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter, slightly buttery finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Mixture between Imperial Pils and Dutch Dortmunder style, and quite okay in that regard. Easy to drink but not really a revelation tastewise.
