0.3 l bottle from 'Slijterij Gérard', best before December 2020. Clear, dark ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of lots of caramel, burnt sugar and hints of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, minimally bitter and a little fruity taste of caramel, burnt sugar, some bread crust and hints of raisins, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a little bready finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite decent for what it is. And... another Dutch Oud Bruin ticked off!

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een helder donkerbruin bier met stevig schuim. Het aroma is zoet en licht moutig. De smaak is moutig en caramel achtig.

Numerous bottles in my life, this bottle best before 2014, darker amber beer, small head, aroma is malt, caramel, taste is the same, aged quite well.

Draught @Beerkompanie Heerlen. Hazy pale golden colour. Fine frothy and lasting white head, good lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, yeast, some wort. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, bit buttery. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, refreshing pilsner.
