Description
With Forest Road, what you see is what you get. We don’t have big investors. We’re not owned by a multinational corporation. We started on a tiny kit in an East London backyard, and we’ve grown through hard work.
What we work hardest at is the quality of our beer. When we heard that one of the world’s greatest breweries - Russian River in Northern California - was selling its brewhouse, we knew we had to get our hands on it. We worked night and day to raise the cash, sailed it through the Panama Canal and now it has a new home, here in London.

Tap at Draf House, Seething Lane. Herbal aroma. Pine. Dung? Opaque orange amber. Thick creamy white head. Very light bitterness which gradually goes from strenght to strength. However it's pine lemon juice and quinine and all very one dimensional. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat/nil carbonation. Astringent finish. Poor attempt. If you hopped some ditch water I'd imagine it would taste like this. I still finished it though.

Keg at MK BG, 20/08/18. Pale golden blonde with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, straw, breads, hint of lemon, grains. Taste comprises pale malts, a little overly sweet, breads, grassy, hont of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for the style.

Keg @ Forest Road Tap Room, Hackney. Darker amber with a head. It's a stronger, slower supping sweet ale with a hint of berry-fruit and some sugars.
