Pours an only-slightly hazy, golden yellow, with good-sized, foamy head. Aroma is full of hop resin, citrus, pine/spruce. Flavor is very bitter, with some citrus and a touch of tropical fruit. Pine/spruce hops are very noticeable in the bitter, bitter finish. It's not bad--these guys consistently turn out some of the best beer in Minnesota!

On tap at Hopcat Minneapolis. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of orange juice and sweet grains with a hint of bitterness underlying. Flavor has lots of earthy orange and orange juice with sweet grains underlying.

Have to call this one a failed experiment. Flavor is absolutely awful. Pours a darker brown-black, with middling head. Aroma has some roasted grain, some chocolate, but also a big bouquet of citrus/pine hops. Flavor is a godawful mixture of pine/spruce/citrus hops with what you'd expect of a stout: chocolate, coffee, roasted grain. It tastes a bit like cleaning fluid.

On tap at Republic. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a decent amount of onion with light citrus and sweet grains backing. Flavor has more citrus but still a good amount of onion and light sweet wheat underlying.

Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow, with smallish head. Aroma has some citrus and floral notes. Flavor is kind of spicy--peppery almost--with citrus and spruce/pine hops. Just a touch of sweetness. Bitter finish and aftertaste. Really good MN IPA. One of the best!

Thnx to geoff ! drank from the can. Smell is resiny, green, hoppy, medium high intensity. Taste is rather bitter, very green, rather silky, not as aromatic as hoped for in a hazy IPA, but has a nice, style-typical ending. Not the single best out there for sure, but a great drinkin' beer.
