Bottle. Pale golden color. Maltaroma with a hint of butter and toffee. malty sweet, slightly alcoholc flavor with toffee. Bready. Medium to full bodied. Warming bock on a cold spring night.

Fuchsbeck Pils, Flasche (50 cl) im Paket von Mein-Biershop.de. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase mildes, keksartiges und leicht strohiges helles Malz, etwas dumpf, dazu milde aber tiefe grasige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk schlank und mild brotig-hellmalzig mit angenehm säuerlicher Note in der schwach muffigen Malzsüße. Sehr milder kräuteriger Hopfen. Mild rezent. Im Abgang nur knappe, fein zitronige Hopfenherbe. Etwas muffiger Nachtrunk mit Schweineschmalz - hier schlägt der Hopfenextrakt durch. - Süffiges, mild aromatisches aber etwas dumpfes und zu wenig herbes Pils. Ganz nett aber nicht völlig überzeugend.

“Fuchsbeck Bock“, Flasche (50 cl) per Post von Mein-Biershop.de. - Helles Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase breites, honigsüßes Karamelmalz, fuseliges reifes Obst, schwache Herbe. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig mit würziger Karamelnote, angenehm bittersüßem Waldhonig und leisen Anklängen an überreifes, ja fauliges Obst, abgerundet durch mild kräuterige Hopfenherbe. Mild rezent, vollmundig, fast etwas schal aber aufgelockert durch mild zitronige Noten, welche die beträchtliche Restsüße und die unterschwellige fuselige Schwere konterkarieren. Im Abgang etwas fuselig süß mit runder Bittere. - Außerordentlich gekonnter Fastenbock, der Honigsüße, Kräuterherbe und fuselige Schwere raffiniert zusammenbindet und dabei tückisch süffig bleibt. Ein Seligmacher der besonderen Art ...

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Clean, minimally sweet, wheaty aroma, notes of banana, dried banana, a touch of clove. Taste is dry, minimally bready, wheaty and mildly grassy hoppy, subtle sweetness, diluted hints of banana, banana leaves; minimally watery.

Bottle courtesy of Boris - cheers! Pours clear dark gold with a good sized, quite short lasting just off-white head. Aroma of banana (somewhere between real ripe banana and artificial foam banana sweets), caramel, malt, yeast and vanilla. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation. Weak, slightly metallic and lifeless finish. Not a big fan of this one.

Pours cristal clear indeed ! Blonde, with an average, creamy, very stable white head. Smell is more to the phenolic ( clove) side, than the banana esthers, which is only mild. Creamy wheataroma, makes the scent very pillowy and full. Taste is medium-fullbodied, banana, but not as sticky as other examples. Some cloves, remains rather fresh by the hopbitter aspects. Bit creamyness from the wheat, but overall not a very dense body. medium-high carbonation. no hoparoma, obviously. Aftertaste is rather shoort-living, appart from some lingering wheat aspects. OK, decent brew.
