16 oz. can purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions. Lately hazy gold in color with a thin Bubbley head. Aroma is late sourdough wheat, mild yogurt, very mild berry. Strawberry is very natural and subtle. Effervescent mouth feel. Very little salt. Not much tartness but still nice.

Pricy 750 ml purchased at 7 Eleven, Kittery Maine. Unclear amber color, no head. Aroma shows me mild grape skin, weak funky least, and aged malt. Flavor has the addition of bread and a light sour, lactic hint in the finish. I enjoyed the barrel aged version much more. This just seems kind of lackluster.

Draft at District Tap House. Dark brown, nice light brown head and strong lacework. Roast and bread. Coffee and spice. Clean and malty. Smooth. Surprisingly good.

Sizer from my brother for birthday. Clearish copper fizzy head. Nose is some citrus and wheat. Tastes of dry wheat, some grapefruit but not over powering, hard candy, some wood, lemon and iodine. Fizzy carbonation slight watery texture.

750mL bottle shared by AFH on 7/8/17.
Oddly a very hazy, peach-apricot with an off-white head atop showing low retention. Doesn't look much like a BdG but for the color.
Heavy melon derived from yeast and interplay of melanoidin and other specialty malts. Quite unrelenting on the lightly tart acidity with big bready interludes and caramel-covered apple notes lingering piquantly on the finish. Almost seems like there's light acetic character, but that may just be the fruity acidity mixing with vanilla and lightly toasted oak. Quite intense and dense in the nose.
Strong acidity up front, very melanoidin and yeast derived with tons of red fruit, light coconut and green raisin. Graham cracker and bready malts show through with light vanilla and strong wood suggestions. Soft, oily, viscous texture with moderate-to-low, fairly engaging carbonation that distributes the acidity throughout the palate nicely. Lots of bread and pepper lingering. Maybe a bit forceful/brutish, but definitely on the right track, stylistically.

Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is old maltyness, taste is unfresh, stale malts. Not that good.
