Pours clear gold into a willi. Bright white head with good retention craters and recedes leaving spot lacing. Biscuit and bread aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and sourdough upfront turning to slight plastic before the dry, medium length melon finish.

Can from the Packie
Pours a lightly hazy dirty gold color with a bubbly while head that dissipates a bit quickly. rich bready toasty maltiness with some hints of toffee and earth. Been a while since Ive had an ESB and I enjoyed it.

Can thanks to Clarkvv! Nose of pineapple and maybe citrus. Flavor follows with mild hints of herbs. Mild citrus rind bitterness. Hard to compare this to the Freak Folk 10 minutes before it.

Canned Oct 16, 2024, drunk 1/12/25.
Moderate haze. Bronze-maize. Small, white head, clumpy.
Smells interesting. Fruity as hell with pineapple, guava, cherry, grape, coconut? Light, biscuity malts with estery yeast and no weirdness.
Slightly more muddled in flavor with lots of yeast, lots of biscuit, a bit of pith and chalk. Coconut, lemon, guava and pineapple with mild bitterness and good attenuation. Not quite as much flavor as I'd want for its size, though.

Can (10/16/24) shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Deeply hazy yellow, light lacing. Aroma is vague orange, fruit salad. Taste follows aroma. Smooth. Definitely a unique hop mix, so A+ for effort, but not very strong.

473ml can. Hazy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy and citrusy fruity, minimally piney, hoppy aroma, wheaty and minimally oaty malty background, hints of grapefruit, lemon, a touch of mandarine, orange, weed. Taste is mildly bitter, slightly zesty, citrusy fruity and grassy hoppy, wheaty and slightly oaty malty basis with a minimally sugary touch and low residual sweetness, minimally diluted hints of grapefruit and orange, tangerine. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Surprisingly watery, rather thin flavours - OK, but not overly impressive.
