Orange pour without much head or lace. Light hop aroma. Somewhat grainy as well. Quite drinkable, but not hoppy enough to be a Session IPA in my opinion.

Smells of wort. Quite vegetal s will. Cloudy orange pour. Very reminiscent of being on a vegetable farm for me.

On tap at The Ginger Man, NY. A clear, golden colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has crackers, a light caramel touch, generic fruityness and a little peppery note. It’s medium bodied, soft and smooth on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Rather low on both bitterness and sourness I think, with biscuity malts and some fruityness and spices. Long finish. A bit boring this one, nice though. 150624

Draught @ Alewife. Cloudy copper red with medium sized creamy off-white head, fruity aroma, low carbonation, slightly sour fruity taste, longish fonish with yeasty aftertaste. It’s accurately labeled as an easy drinking beer, quite enjoyable indeed.

The Ginger Man, NYC tap: Pours dull copper with a white head, pretty small though. Aroma is earth and wood and raspberries. Taste is not sour at all, and the berries don’t really carry through either. It is funky, but it is not at all sour. Just earthy and a tad bit sweet. Carbonation is characteristically low. It is pretty meh.

Sampled at Tap NY 2015, 4/25/15,
Yellow-gold with an almost white head. Coffee leads the aroma. Dark malts as well. Taste is fairly unusual. I think this one is more interesting than it is good, but it was certainly something worth trying. I wonder if my score would be lower off a full pour instead of a sample glass at a festival?
My final rating to enter from Tap 2015 gets me to a grand total of 650 NY state beers rated and 115 unique NY state breweries rated! Can't wait for Tap 2016!

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours brown with no head. Aroma is rye and jalapeno... Surprise. Taste is loads of rye, with hot pepper. Carbonation is absurdly light, probably too light. This is not too great.
