Tap at the taproom. Pours clear yellow . Small white head . Smell is very green coffee . Taste is bitter , herbal coffee . Not really my kind of taste, but very cool to see a coffee taste this clearly in a bonde beer

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to drsandman. Pours cloudy brown with a creamy, beige head. The nose has some old, burt wood, a bit of leather, dark berries. Light sweet flavor with some rusty metal, cedar, char, chicory, cocoa. Medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Finishes a little astringent with further metal, leathery berries, dirt, old wood. Novel but it doesn’t come together entirely.

Bottle from a trade with jtclockwork, cheers James, split at Bruce’s Pad 04/11/14. Black with a tan head that fast dissipates to spotting and edgework. Nose is tarte dark fruits, light roast, earthy, lactic notes, spice, dates. Taste comprises cherry skins, chocolate, leather, tangy dark fruits, dark malt, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with lactic pangs. Drinkable but not a great for the style.
