Description
Tatton Brewery is a family-run brewery in Knutsford in the heart of Cheshire, just a stone’s throw from Tatton Park.

We brew both classic and contemporary style beers in a modern brewery, and our beers are available in cask, keg and bottle in pubs, bars, restaurants and other venues across the North West.

We have a custom built modern brewery, and have combined this with a traditional local yeast (revived after 50 years retirement), the finest ingredients and years of experience creating internationally renowned beers, to brew what we believe to be Cheshire’s finest beers.

Our brewery has been specifically designed to enable us to brew consistently good beer, we believe each and every pint we sell needs to be as good as the last one. We like to think this is what sets up apart from other small brewers, and hope that you will appreciate our efforts.

Half-pint, cask ale outside in the backyard of Fat Cat. A clear warm golden body, tiny pearl white head, spotty lacing. Fresh smell of orange and pale malts. Quite succulent taste of citrus, leafy hops and mid-dry malts. Decent bitter endnotes. Well made session bitter. (Sheffield, 28.04.2025).

Used to love a good Crunchie bar as a kid. Black with a small creamy head. Lovely honeycomb aroma, slightly less stated in taste but still heavy. Found at the Lime Street Station Spoons - the gateway to Liverpool!

Dartmoor Prison Museum operates on the opposite side of the road to the still operational prison on the moor. Not much light around there at night, and this one is pretty dark too, looking black. Gentle tasting but crisp dark malts here. Very easy mild.

Beer number eight at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2025. Glowing beer, tasting quite robust with a hop-malt balance, but not the texture to match, this is quite soft. Very mild sweetness.
