Draught, 5.4% at the brewpub. Hazy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour has a faint hint of bread. Like a lager with low bitterness. OK mouthfeel, though.

Draught, 5.0% at the brewpub. Good fruity and flowery hop aroma. Seemingly clear yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is fruity with a good spicy hop note. Has a little earthy hop note as well. The finish is a bit watery. Not as clean as a real Kölsch, but a good attempt at the style.

on tap at Stags Head. Pours is standard golden. Taste is dry yet crisp with hints of wheat and corn. Not a lot going on but not unpleasant.

Aroma: The nose has some wheat and fruit, and that's basically it
Appearance: This one pours a cloudy golden-amber color into the glass
Flavor: Taste is wheaty, some sweetness to it, not much in the way of hops
Palate: The body on this beer is fairly light, simple enough, drinkable enough
Overall Impression: This beer was really not anything to write too much about. I didn't love this stuff, whatever, I don't have too much else to say about it. Rating entry #1414, which is a rather useless but entertaining thing to note.

Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet with lots of raspberry syrup, and candied sugar
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear golden looking color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is rather sweet, pretty much raspberry sweetness and wheat
Palate: The palate on this one is pretty light, it is crisp enough, and pretty drinkable too
Overall Impression: As far as wheat beers with fruit syrup added to them go this one isn't too bad. I didn't love it, but it was decent for what it is and what it is trying to be.

At Spitzer ($6) (I did not buy this my friend did, even after I told her not to and then she proceeded to regret it afterward): Anyway, it pours a hazy amber peach color. Darker than would be expected. White thin head. Aroma of fruit. Blackberry not distinct. Kind of watery. Fruity. My friend thought it tasted like popcorn jellybeans. I don’t think she was that far off. Better than other blackberry beers I have had, but nothing exemplary.

Tap at Pony Bar. Pours a clear, amber-orange with a medium, white head. Aroma holds light malty notes, rye grains and earthy hops. Flavor is of moderate sweetness with a distinctly alternative malt character, bready, and finishish with modest bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. A decent beer.

Location: Tap at RnH, 4/17/10
Aroma: Nose of malts, fruit, dust, and grains
Appearance: Pours a hazy copper-orange color
Flavor: Taste is earth, fruit, dust, and some slightly off sour notes
Palate: The body is crisp with an alright mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This beer is decent, but there is something that is just a bit off in the flavor. Other then that, I don't have much to say on it. The score would be a bit higher if it wasn't for that "off" feel to the flavor.
